So many shady deals going on with which Nigeria banks are enablers, same with providing a safe haven for fraudsters and terror financing in Nigeria. Thank you David, you're doing a great job only that the authority that ought to take actions are part of it. We hope a New Nigeria will be birthed with Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed and you in charge of Efcc.

It's crazy the level of things that goes on silently in Nigeria because we have a government that does nothing about the issues. Sick government and also Banks too are not helping. Thanks David for this Exposé

An enlightening piece. I suppose we should be outraged but it's too sad honestly.

I was aware the banking industry regularly shafts the average Nigerian with mysterious fees, service delays and ridiculous surveillance of small business transactions. It's hardly surprising that they think their customers are unworthy of having agency in the use of their personal information.

But for the wealthy ones who are "more equal", they look the other way (surely after being giving small something). The shocking part to me was that they will also aid terror financing.

It just looks like the Nigerian financial sphere from the "fintechs" to CBN is engineered to be a lawless jungle for those at the top, but for those at the bottom, a draconian hell.

it's really scary that terrorism in Nigeria is being funded by a known Terrorism financier in Qatar. Nigerian banks are responsible for the thousands of lives that have been lost due to terrorism in Nigeria! God will punish everyone involved in this wickedness. 🙏 I don't even know what to say.

Fire on the mountain 🏔️ and we're gonna get burnt so bad if we do not the NEEDFUL. There is jihad in NIGERIA already, and the govt of the day is for sure complacent about this. Too bad

ALL sort of fraudulent transactions and the security AGENCY does less to nothing. Which means they're INDIRECTLY aiding & abating these unknown criminals
