The pilots of that aero aircraft must have lost control at some point during the short flight. It’s troubling reading this they gone back to the old days of early 2000 of EAS, ADC, and chanchnagi airlines cutting corners and precipitating crashes. Airworthiness department are asleep
I saw an Airpeace aircraft at Ilorin Airport without a tyre about two weeks ago, I don’t know if it’s another hazard or a maintenance is ongoing. I’m so scared to fly. Thank you David
Words are not enough to express my innate gratitude to David, for this important piece. Very necessary, albeit scary. I have learnt so much about the aerospace in a few minutes. I truly hope this expose leads to immediate changes in the Nigerian Aviation industry; lives CANNOT be wasted/put at risk due to sheer and avoidable negligence! Enough is Enough!
Water in fuel tanks is a headache in my operations. We use payloaders for piling bulk material and often encounter flameouts due to water in the tanks reaching the injectors. The in-built water separators now require inspection and cleaning more frequently. I can't begin to imagine this happening on a plane in flight with the attendant loss of hydraulic power. God, may your mercy be sufficient. Help us to be responsible, accountable and able to speak truth to power.

Apparently Aero is still flying. They have a flight tomorrow 13th of July 2023. There have been atleast two revelations of a crash via dreams with a plane with the same colour of aero contractors plane. One as recent as yesterday. Please avoid Aero contractors. Let’s also keep praying for our nation and as much as we can get the authorities to do the the right thing and sanction aircraft’s and airlines that don’t comply with safety measures and procedures
Mr David , I really admire and appreciate what you do with journalism. Please if like you to look into United Nigeria Airlines. Just like Max Air and Aero contractors, that plane is what I’ll call rickety. I’ve flown in that plane twice, from Bayelsa to Abuja and from Abuja back to Bayelsa and honestly my heart was in my mouth the entire period. It’s the same experience with several of my colleagues staying in Bayelsa state. This is because it’s the only airline that flies from the Bayelsa International Airport so technically a lot of us do not really have much of a choice unless we go through Port Harcourt. So please help us look into it cos I feel like United Nigeria Airlines is a ticking time bomb. I just don’t want to go into details of our various experiences, but by your research you’ll get to see why
I don't know if there is anyone who stays in Abuja to confirm this, I hear a particular loud sound that looks strange whenever an Airplane flies above my area, it seems it is the route the plane takes and when it gets to that location it changes gear or makes the rudder change or it does something to make the plane change direction, but that sound is loud and abnormal. I think the Airline that flies those planes need their planes well serviced and maintained.
This is responsible reporting . Kudos to whistleblowers. We need to assist the regulators with online realtime reporting. Disasters dont just happen. Its always caused by series of sequential events that culmunate to a diaster.
Pilots need to be unrelenting . Carryout relevant checks. Cry out on all anomalies . Insist on not flying until a part is replaced or problem identified is resolved: Observe your max work hours and ensure to rest appropriately. Its not just about skills or number of flying hours anymore. Its about the next shift after your shift.
Disasters that have occured took place after a partular shift that were in command of the craft. Pay attention to details and save lives.

I just don't understand how people play with lives. I don't get it at all? Even the pilots,vare they themselves not scared for their own lives so as to ensure they do the necessary pre-flight checks without fail? Why are we like this in this country? Managing an aircraft's fault? Even the tiniest fault should not be allowed for flights, how much horrible faults like the ones you mentioned in your article and the one the lady mentioned in your Twitter space. I'm really scare for this country. Corruption has so eaten deep in our national life that even potential air disasters we don't care!
I understand you perfectly but don't rule out saboteurs and people that wants to make quick money working for the fuelling companies. It's in Nigeria that I see that nobody career what happens to their fellows as far as they make money.
